Not your normal Dirk Skean Dhu brooch! Wonderful nineteenth-century super large antique Victorian Scottish dirk kilt pin brooch with rich Cairngorm gemstones. Rendered in engraved sterling silver, the brooch contains arched jasper and Montrose agate sections each with a thistle shape Cairngorm popping out from the center. The top is an engraved thistle bottom with a faceted gemstone st the top. Closed in the back with a c-clasp, tubular hinge, elongated pin stem, and a loop if you want to add to a chain, the brooch would make a wonderful gift and is good for either the gentlemen or the ladies. One of the finest Dirk brooches I have ever seen!
